The Legal Intelligencer, July 14, 2017: Rawle & Henderson raises over $7,000 for Komen Race for Cure

Rawle & Henderson participated in the 2017 Philadelphia Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in May and raised over $7,000 to help find a cure for breast cancer. The firm won the race category “Law Firms for the Fight” by raising more funds than any other participating law firm. Over the last 10 years, Rawle & Henderson’s team has raised over $78,500. Rawle & Henderson’s 2017 race team, “Higgins and Sabo Present Harvan’s Heroes,” was captained by Patrice S. O’Brien, of counsel to the firm. Rawle & Henderson honored for the third year in a row Christine Harvan, the firm’s longtime law librarian, who lost her battle against breast cancer in March 2015. They also honored, for the 10th year in a row, the firm’s former partner, Ann-Michele Higgins, who lost her struggle with breast cancer in September 2007, and for the fourth year in a row Nancy J. Sabo, wife of firm partner Michael G. Sabo, who lost her courageous fight against breast cancer in January 2014.
