Patrice S. O’Brien speaks at Pennsylvania Association for Justice CLE event on April 8

Patrice S. O’Brien, an attorney with Rawle & Henderson LLP, participated in a CLE event hosted by the Pennsylvania Association for Justice on April 8, 2016.  The event, titled “What’s It Worth? Evaluating and Settling Personal Injury Cases,” included a panel discussion of a series of hypothetical cases after which the panel privately put a “price” on the case.  The range of “prices” was then compared and discussed by the panelists and the audience.  The seminar also looked at settlement techniques, the impact of the Fair Share Act, considerations for court conciliations, how to find the right person for ADR through mediation and arbitration, and ethical considerations from inadvertent disclosures of information. The event was held at the Top of the Tower, 1717 Arch Street, in Philadelphia.
