Patrice O’Brien coordinates Philadelphia Bar Association CLE event held on December 21, 2017

Patrice S. O’Brien, Of Counsel in Rawle & Henderson LLP’s Philadelphia office, organized and coordinated the CLE event “Evaluating an Economic Loss: Don’t Let ‘It’ Scare You” on December 21 at the Philadelphia Bar Association. The presentation, given by forensic accountant Howard Silverstone (PA), focused on evaluating the potential economic damages involved in a medical malpractice action, discovery of documents and information on damages, analyzing the evidence, cross-examination of the opposing expert, and preparing for the damage aspect of the trial.

“Evaluating an Economic Loss” was hosted by the Medical-Legal Committee of the Bar Association. Patrice O’Brien is a member of the Bar Association and is Co-Chair of the Medical-Legal Committee.

Patrice has practiced as a civil trial lawyer for over 30 years in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, catastrophic loss and premises liability in the Mid-Atlantic region. She received her undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley College, magna cum laude, in 1983, and law degree from Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in 1986.

For the past 10 years, she has been the captain of Rawle & Henderson LLP’s race team for the annual Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure, helping to raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer.
