Alison C. Fleming joins Philadelphia office of Rawle & Henderson LLP

Alison C. Fleming has joined the Philadelphia office of Rawle & Henderson LLP as an associate. She concentrates her law practice in general casualty defense litigation, including construction accidents, premises liability, product liability, motor vehicle accidents and insurance coverage matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Alison served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia from 2014 to 2017. She was part of the trial division and prosecuted major trials, specializing in sexual assaults and crimes of domestic violence. Before attending law school, Alison worked as a paralegal in various civil practice areas, including workers’ compensation, medical malpractice and nursing home litigation.

Alison received her J.D. from the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, in 2013. She was on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honor Society and traveled to interscholastic competitions; she currently volunteers as a coach. She was also an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity and competed in various mock trial competitions. While in law school, Alison was an intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and law clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey Minehart, Court of Common Pleas, Homicide Division. Alison received the Thomas S. Lodge Memorial Scholarship for commitment to public service and the Pro Bono Service Award upon graduation. She also served as a mentor to first year law students as a member of the American Association of Justice.

Alison received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where she participated in a Study Abroad and Internship in London, England. After graduation, Alison attended Duquesne University, where she earned a paralegal certificate and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Alison is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
