Stephanie M. Smith is an associate in the firm's Delaware office. She concentrates her practice on toxic tort litigation, commercial litigation and employment law.
Stephanie received her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2007. She was a staff member of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She served as a Defense Advisor, Prosecutor, and then Judge for University Traffic Court, and served as a law clerk for Kansas Legal Services. Stephanie took part in a Study Abroad Program, studying comparative U.S., U.K., and Scottish law, human rights, international law, and other topics at the University of Aberdeen.
She earned an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management from the University of Delaware - Lerner College of Business and Economics in 2010. She was on the team that placed first in the Carol A. Ammon MBA Case Competition and was the MBA Student Council Networking & Alumni Chair. Stephanie earned a B.A. in Humanities and Western Civilization in 2003 from the University of Kansas. While earning her B.A., Stephanie was part of the University Honors Program and the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society. She participated in a Study Abroad Program at a university in Dalian, China.
Stephanie is admitted to practice in Delaware, Illinois, and Missouri (inactive), as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
