Bio
Melissa R. Knoerzer concentrates her practice on litigation and transactional matters. Ms. Knoerzer’s practice focuses on the defense of commercial motor vehicles, casualty and premises liability, complex commercial litigation and transactional matters. She also has experience in insurance coverage, products liability, intellectual property, health care law, estate planning and litigation and family law.
Ms. Knoerzer received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Rutgers University in 1999, where she was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. She received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law in 2004, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and involved in the Hunter Advanced Moot Court Program.
Ms. Knoerzer started her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder, in the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Mount Holly. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District Court of New Jersey.
Ms. Knoerzer is a volunteer child advocate with the Support Center for Child Advocates. She is also an active volunteer with the Collingswood Junior Women’s Club and A Pathway to Hope.
