Bio

Jordan L. Howell is an associate in the Philadelphia office of Rawle & Henderson LLP. He concentrates his law practice in the areas of casualty & premises liability, construction, insurance coverage and product liability.

Jordan earned his J.D. from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2013. While in law school, he participated in the Temple's Trial Advocacy Program and was a member of the Criminal Law Society. He was a Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Fellow and taught Constitutional Law at George Washington Carver High School of Engineering & Science in North Philadelphia. He was Vice President of the Sports and Activities Club. 

In addition, while attending law school, Jordan was a legal intern for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office from 2009 to 2012. He also served as a legal intern for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project (PaIP) in 2011. He was an intern with the Defender Association of Philadelphia in 2009.

Jordan earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice in 2010 from Temple University. While earning his bachelor's degree, he served as an intern with the Defender Association of Philadelphia in 2009.

After graduating from law school, Jordan was an Assistant District Attorney in the Major Trial Division of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, before joining Rawle & Henderson LLP, Jordan served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Special Investigations Unit of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. While working in the Special Investigations Unit, Jordan managed investigations and prosecutions for white-collar crime, including corruption and fraud. He also investigated, reviewed and prosecuted cases in which police officers were suspects, including all police-related shootings in Philadelphia.

Jordan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Barristers'​ Association of Philadelphia, the Temple University Beasley School of Law Peer Mentorship Program and the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
