Bio
Jenna Perkins Wood is a resident partner in Rawle & Henderson’s Wheeling office. She has more than 18 years of litigation and trial experience. Ms. Wood represents individuals and businesses in defense of automobile/commercial vehicle, work injury, medical malpractice, toxic torts, product liability, construction defects and premises liability claims. She has successfully litigated and tried to verdict a variety of civil and criminal cases in the State and Federal Courts of West Virginia. She is admitted to practice in West Virginia and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia.
In addition to an active trial practice, Ms. Wood also serves as a Crimes Against Children Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Ohio County, West Virginia. She has served as an employment law adjunct professor for West Liberty University and is a board member for Habitat for Humanity, Wheeling, WV.
Ms. Wood graduated cum laude from West Liberty State College in West Virginia in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was employed for five years as a Registered Nurse in the emergency departments of two West Virginia medical centers. She received her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 1995 where she was President of the Women’s Law Caucus and a member of the WVU Law Mediation Competition Team.
