Bio
James C. Stroud has been with Rawle & Henderson for over 30 years. Mr. Stroud was recognized by Philadelphia Magazine in 2003 as one of the Philadelphia area's leading attorneys in defense of medical malpractice litigation. He was named a “Super-Lawyer” by Law & Politics and the publishers of Philadelphia Magazine in 2012 for the ninth consecutive year. In 2006 as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in Philadelphia and, in 2007, was named as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in Pennsylvania.
As Chairman of the Firm's Professional Liability Department including the medical/health care group, Mr. Stroud has successfully represented health care professionals, engineers, architects, insurance brokers, as well as manufacturers of a variety of products. Mr. Stroud also represents clients in aviation, managed care, products liability matters and professional liability insurers.
Mr. Stroud was elected to membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
