Amy K. Pohl is Of Counsel to the firm in the Pittsburgh office of Rawle & Henderson LLP. Amy regularly defends manufacturers, suppliers and contractors in mass and toxic tort litigation matters, including asbestos and silica litigation. She also has experience representing clients in a wide variety of general litigation and pre-litigation matters in state and federal court, including product liability, personal injury defense, negligence actions, commercial and contract matters, insurance claims and disputes, employment discrimination actions, construction/bid protest matters, and government investigations.
Amy received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1998. While in law school, she served as Associate Editor and then Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in History and English from John Carroll University in 1995. She spent her Spring 1995 term at Oxford University in Oxford, England. Amy completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) trial training program in Denver, Colorado, in August 2003.
Amy is admitted to practice law in the courts of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining Rawle & Henderson LLP, Amy was an associate in the Pittsburgh office of a large international law firm from 1998 to 2015.
