Rawle & Henderson LLP mourns the loss of its partner and friend Ann-Michele G. Higgins who passed away on September 23, 2007 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Ann-Michele was a Proctor in admiralty, who in 2007 had argued before the United States Supreme Court in Sinochem International Co. vs. Malaysia International Shipping Corp., No. 06-102 and was presented with the 2007 Woman of the Year Award from the Women's International Trade Association (WITA) in Philadelphia. She was an active participant in community affairs.

Rawle & Henderson’s Philadelphia office will be closed on Friday, September 28, 2007 for the Funeral Mass which will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Katharine of Siena Church in Wayne, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Katharine of Siena Church on Wednesday, September 26 or Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
