Summer Associate Program

Each summer, the firm employs a number of highly qualified law students, most of whom have completed their second year of law school. The program is specially designed to give each summer associate exposure to all our practice areas. Furthermore, the program seeks to help summer associates develop the basic skills required to practice law at the highest level of quality.

Each summer associate is assisted by an associate mentor and is asked to perform work on a number of assignments from partners and associates working in different practice areas. All assignments are placed into a “pool”, and summer associates are given the opportunity to choose those assignments they feel will be most helpful in understanding and evaluating the firm’s practice and most compatible with their professional interests.

Throughout the program, summer associates are encouraged to attend educational seminars, both in-house and outside, covering a broad range of pertinent topics. In an effort to provide exposure to the various aspects of our practice, summer associates are invited to accompany and assist our lawyers in discovery matters, motion practice and trial.
