Keith Mulvihill is a resident partner in RAWLE & HENDERSON'S Pittsburgh office. Mr. Mulvihill is a Pittsburgh native and has been practicing in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania for over 20 years in the areas of product liability, general liability and insurance coverage.
A cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the Law Review in 2000, Mr. Mulvihill also obtained the prestigious Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from the CPCU Society.
Mr. Mulvihill has substantial trial experience in product liability, professional liability and general defense matters. In the product liability area, he has defended insured and self-insured manufacturers of a variety of industrial and consumer products including mining equipment, man lifts, road paving and grading equipment, aircraft, pharmaceuticals, consumer appliances and silica containing products. In the insurance coverage area, he has represented carriers in a variety of coverage claims and in bad faith and UM/UIM claims.
He has written extensively and lectured for professional and trade groups on trial practice, professional liability and insurance coverage.
Mr. Mulvihill has been active in the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and served as Treasurer. He has also served as Chair of PDI's Professional Liability Committee and its Coverage and Claims Practice Committee. He is also active in the CPCU Society (Allegheny Chapter) and is a member of the National Claims Committee. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations and the Defense Research Institute.
In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Mulvihill is very involved in his community and has been elected to the Board of Commissioners of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, a large Pittsburgh suburb where he served as Board President. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Medical Rescue Team South Authority which provides emergency medical services to a number of suburban Pittsburgh communities. Mr. Mulvihill is General Counsel for the Better Business Bureau of Western Pennsylvania and has served as a court-appointed Special Master for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. Mulvihill has been rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named to Who's Who in American Lawİ; Who's Who in Americaİ and Who's Who in the Worldİ.
