Maureen E. Daley was designated as one of the “Top 50 Female Lawyers” in Pennsylvania in 2009. Maureen has more than 15 years of trial experience and she has successfully litigated cases in the state and federal courts. In addition to an active trial practice, she serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, a private arbitrator and mediator. Maureen devotes her practice to the defense of corporate entities, including commercial motor vehicles, products and premises liability and insurance coverage matters. Additionally, she has served as national coordinating counsel in product liability litigation and provides representation in various states, including Delaware, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
Maureen is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She has been admitted pro hac vice in the state of Delaware.
Maureen has lectured on behalf of Pennsylvania Bar Institute in a series titled “Arbitration Practices” and has been engaged to present a class entitled “Legal Methods”. At the request of clients, Maureen has provided presentations on product liability, workers’ compensation, federal evidence and commercial motor vehicle liability. She has served as Vice Chair of the Commercial Motor Vehicle Committee on behalf of the American Bar Association (ABA). In addition, she is Vice Chair of the Products, General Liability and Consumer Law Committee and Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee of the ABA.
Maureen was recognized as a Rising Star in the Legal Profession in 2007 and designated as Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in 2010, 2009 and 2008.
