William J. Cattie, III is the resident partner in Rawle & Henderson's Wilmington office. Mr. Cattie practices in the areas of professional malpractice, employment, insurance law and general liability. Mr. Cattie graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1968. Mr. Cattie is a 1974 graduate of Harvard Law School. Mr. Cattie is admitted to practice in the State of Delaware and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The United States District Courts for the State of Delaware, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Cattie has substantial trial experience in professional liability insurance coverage and general defense matters. In the medical malpractice area, he has successfully defended physicians, nurses, physical therapists, nursing homes, and dentists.
